MAKING A HANGING BASKET

 

1. PLACE THE BASKET ONTO A LARGE POT TO STABLISE WHEN WORKING

 

2. LINE WITH A THICK LAYER OF MOSS.

3. PLACE A PLASTIC CONTAINER IN THE BASE FOR A WATER RESERVOIR.

4. HALF FILL WITH A GOOD COMPOST.

5. CAREFULLY PULL THE ROOTBALLS THROUGH THE SIDES.

6. PLACE PLANTS ON TOP IN BETWEEN SIDE ROOTBALLS.

7. COVER THE ROOTS CAREFULLY WITH MORE COMPOST.

8. USE TRAILERS FOR SIDES, UPRIGHT PLANTS FOR TOP.

9. A 12 INCH BASKET WILL NEED ABOUT 10 PLANTS.

10. WATER AND HANG IN A NICE SUNNY SPOT.

NB WATER EVERY EVENING.

GALVANISED OR PLASTIC BUCKETS.

ANYTHING THAT WILL CONTAIN COMPOST WILL DO
